Please help keep Douglas Lake clean!

With the lake levels low, this is a good time to think about taking advantage of the opportunities to add fish attractors to your lakefront property (ie. stake beds, brush piles, and other fish attractors). These structures improve spawning, provide shelter for young fish, and concentrate fish populations for fishing. Contact the TVA and/or your state fishing wildlife agency to obtain permits and provided assistance.

Call 1-800-TVA-LAND for the phone number of a watershed team nearest you.

Landscaping along the shorelines, removing trash and debris from the shorelines, inspect your dock and do necessary repairs are a few other things you might get done during low water level times.

If you been thinking about building a new dock, now is the time to call the TVA for a permit application.
